• Trichophyton (T. rubum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum).
• Microsporum Canis và Epidermophyton Floccosum.
• Candida: C. albicans.
• Pityrosporum orbiculare (or Malassezia furfur).

Tenafin Cream is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch. It kills fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering.

Tenafin Cream is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. The amount you need, and how long you take it will depend on what you are being treated for. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. You should avoid getting in contact with your mouth, eyes, and nose. In case of accidental contact, wash it off with plenty of water. Keep using it regularly to get the most benefit.

The most common side effects include burning sensation, itching, or stinging sensation. They are not usually serious and often disappear with time. If they bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using the medicine.

Tenafin Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by fungi. It works by killing and stopping the growth of fungi. This provides relief from various symptoms, such as pain and itching, caused by the infection and speeds up the healing process. You should keep using it for as long as it is prescribed even if your symptoms have gone. This will prevent the infection from coming back. Using this medicine as prescribed may help you feel more comfortable with your skin.

HOW TO USE TENAFIN 1% VCP ANTIFUNGAL CREAM

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

• Wash hands before and after use. Clean and dry the damaged skin area, gently apply a thin layer of cream to the skin area to be treated and the surrounding area. In case of damage to skin folds such as under the chest, between toes, fingers, near the buttocks, groin: you can bandage a layer of clean gauze on the damaged area, especially at night.
• Treatment effectiveness will increase if the affected skin area is always clean and dry. Avoid scratching or rubbing damaged skin.

HOW TENAFIN CREAM WORKS

Tenafin Cream stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from making their protective covering.

NOTE

1. (Contraindicated): People who are sensitive to any ingredient of the drug
2. The medicine is for external use only, do not swallow.
3. The medicine may cause eye irritation, avoid allowing the medicine to come into contact with the eyes.
4. If the medicine gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with clean water.
5. If irritation or sensitivity occurs when using the drug, discontinue use and appropriate treatment measures should be instituted.
6. For Candida fungus: do not use highly acidic soap because it creates favorable conditions for Candida spp to grow.
7. The medicine must be treated for a sufficient period of time even if symptoms improve.
8. After 2 weeks of treatment, if there is no improvement, re-diagnosis is required.
9. The Cetyl Alcohol ingredient in the medicine can cause skin irritation.
