Tazoretin Topical Gel 30gr boils on skin treatment gel is a topical acne medication manufactured by Me Di Sun Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Vietnam). Its active ingredient is Adapalene 0.1%, a retinoid compound proven to be effective in treating mild to moderate acne in adults and adolescents over 12 years old.
Indications:
Tazoretin 0.1% is indicated for the topical treatment of mild to moderate acne in patients aged 12 years and older. It helps clear existing acne and prevents new breakouts from forming.
Pharmacodynamics:
- Pharmacological Group: Anti-acne preparations for topical use
- ATC Code: D10AD03
Adapalene is a third-generation retinoid with proven anti-inflammatory activity both in vitro and in vivo. It is chemically stable in the presence of oxygen and light and does not react with other common acne medications. Adapalene binds selectively to nuclear retinoic acid receptors, unlike tretinoin, which also binds to cytosolic retinoic acid-binding proteins.
When applied topically, adapalene normalizes the differentiation of follicular epithelial cells, promoting the breakdown of comedones (blackheads/whiteheads) and preventing the formation of new acne lesions by regulating keratinization and cell turnover.
Pharmacokinetics:
Adapalene is minimally absorbed through the skin. In clinical studies, plasma levels were undetectable (below 0.15 ng/mL) after long-term topical use on acne-affected skin, indicating extremely low systemic exposure and making it a safe option for extended use.
How to Use Tazoretin Gel:
- Directions: Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily in the evening, after cleansing and drying the skin.
- Caution: Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and mucous membranes.

Dosage and Administration:
- Use once daily at bedtime.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years of age due to insufficient safety and efficacy data.
- Always follow your doctor’s instructions for best results.
Important Note:
The above dosage is for reference only. Actual dosage and treatment duration should be determined by a healthcare professional based on individual patient condition.
