Treatment of keloids, hypertrophic scars, limited movement due to scarring, deformed scarring after surgery, scarring due to extremities, cases of scarring due to burns and accidents: Dupuytren’s spastic types (spasticity of the arm) and tendon spasms resulting from trauma and concave scars (wall-hole scars or wrinkles in the skin).
Dosage and administration:
Apply it to the skin or scar tissue several times a day and massage gently to let the medication penetrate the skin. In the case of old and hard scars, the scar can be applied overnight with medicated gauze. Depending on the size of the scar and the spasticity, treatment may take several weeks or months. Especially when treating new scars, avoid bodily stimuli such as too cold, ultraviolet rays or too strong massage.
“I started using Contractubex scar treatment cream after developing an unsightly keloid scar on my knee from a bicycle accident over a year ago. At first, I didn’t expect much since the scar was old, quite firm, and very visible. However, I applied the cream consistently twice a day—morning and evening—after cleansing the area. The cream absorbs very quickly, doesn’t feel sticky or uncomfortable, and has a light scent that I find pleasant. Each time, I spent 2–3 minutes gently massaging it in as instructed.
After about three weeks, I was surprised to notice that the scar had started to soften, its color was fading, and it wasn’t as red as before. Now, after two months of use, the scar has noticeably lightened, though it hasn’t disappeared completely. The surrounding skin also feels smoother and looks more even in tone. I find the price reasonable, especially since one tube lasts quite a while. Despite having sensitive skin, I haven’t experienced any irritation.
