Ingredients of Knevate cream 10g:

Knevate Cream 10g contains the active ingredient clobetasol propionate – a synthetic corticosteroid. The drug has strong activity like a strong glucocorticoid, belonging to the group of topical corticosteroids.

According to the release inhibition mechanism, arachidonic acid is released from membrane phospholipids by phospholipase A2. Clobetasol Propionate has anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and vasoconstrictive effects. The drug can be absorbed in sufficient amounts for local treatment of large areas or areas of torn or cracked skin.

Like other topical medications, Knevate Cream 10g also has the ability to penetrate depending on many factors such as: excipients used as medicine, amount of medication applied to the skin, etc. Covering the skin area where the medication is applied will improve absorption of the drug. Based on recent research, maximum absorption is achieved 8 hours after the second application. Individual absorption concentrations for psoriasis are achieved after 3 hours of application of Knevate Cream 10g at a dose of 25g.

After the drug is absorbed through the skin, Knevate Cream 10g is metabolized mainly through the liver and excreted mainly through the kidneys, partly through bile and feces.

Subjects of Use:

People receiving short-term treatment for symptoms of itching, psoriasis, scaling, redness, scaling, eczema, dermatitis or other bothersome skin conditions.

People undergoing short-term treatment of eczema and dermatitis such as atopic eczema, otitis externa, photodermatitis, atopic dermatitis, pruritic papules, seborrheic dermatitis and insect bites.

Do not use:

– People sensitive to Knevate Cream 10g, children under 1 year old, including dermatitis, diaper rash, acne patients, rosacea, perioral dermatitis

– Do not apply in the eyes or drink, apply to the face, groin, armpits or use in the vagina

How to use:

– Wash your hands thoroughly.

– Apply a layer of Knevate Cream 10g to the affected skin area and gently massage until the cream is completely absorbed into the skin. Patients can measure the amount of medication used with their fingertips.

– Use 1-2 times/day.

– If the patient uses moisturizer, wait about 15 minutes for Knevate Cream 10g to absorb before applying moisturizer.
