Melacare Forte Cream for Melasma and Freckles Treatment (20g): is used to treat moderate-to-severe melasma (dark and discolored patches on the skin). It helps to lighten the skin tone or appearance, especially in cases of dark pigmentation.
Contraindications of Melacare Forte Cream (20g Tube)
- If you are allergic to mometasone, tretinoin, hydroquinone, or any other ingredients in Melacare Forte cream.
- If you have skin conditions such as eczema (infected skin due to allergies), rosacea (small red pustules on the face), perioral dermatitis (rashes around the mouth), or damaged skin on any part of your body.
- If you have viral or fungal skin infections, skin ulcers, or tuberculosis.
- If you are exposed to prolonged periods of sunlight (using sunscreen lotion is recommended).
- If you have a skin tumor or a family history of skin tumors.
Ingredients:
- Hydroquinone: 4%
- Tretinoin: 0.025%
- Mometasone Furoate: 0.1%
Indications:
Treatment of moderate-to-severe melasma.
Dosage:
- Apply to the face every evening at least 30 minutes before bedtime or as directed by a doctor.
- Gently cleanse the face before applying the cream; wash off and pat dry.
- Apply a thin layer of cream over the pigmented area and extend 1 cm beyond the affected area.
- Do not use under occlusive dressings.
Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to the cream’s ingredients.
- Allergies to sulfites, asthma, or rosacea.

Rare:
Stop using and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following:
- Cracks in the skin under the eyes or at the sides of the nose.

- Increased skin dryness
Warnings and Precautions:
- Avoid direct sunlight; it is advisable to use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and wear protective clothing when going outdoors.
- Hydroquinone may cause skin pigmentation issues (darkening of the skin) – stop using immediately if this occurs.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the cream.
- If the cream comes into contact with your eyes or mouth, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not cover the treated area with a bandage, as this may increase the absorption of the cream and lead to harmful effects.
- Using the cream in larger quantities or more frequently than prescribed will not make it work faster but may increase the risk of side effects.
- The safety and effectiveness of Melacare Forte Cream have not been established in pregnant women or children under 12. Consult a doctor before use. Use with caution in breastfeeding women.
